Nice to Meat International, situated in Almere with a tradition of meat trading of more than a century, has been servicing major European markets since 1997. The company, owned by the renowned Pouw-family, have a long established reputation by focusing on tailor-made high quality meat products and personal service.

The company is specialized in import and export activities where special meat and meat products are involved. Over the years we have found interesting niches in the worldwide meat market. We are acting as reliable ‘special agents’ for middle-sized and smaller wholesalers who don’t have the time or the capacity to travel around the world to create their own specialties assortment. We deliver where our competitors can’t. Or, as we like to say: pleased to meat you!

The state-of-the art facilities of Nice to Meat International are based in Almere, 25 minutes driving distance from Schiphol International Airport which is serviced by all major airlines and transportation companies.

What we are best at

Our Qualities

Import

We import some of the finest meat in the world from wagyu to Black Angus. We ship the meat to the Netherlands via cargo ship or cargo plane.

Export

For export you are able to order meat from us and we will deliver it via truck. If it is frozen or fresh does not matter, everything will be kept at the right temperature.

Quality

We keep our quality high and have a temperature tracker with every import to guarantee the highest quality. Our products are also subject to HACCP certification-rules.

Events

We attend conferences for meat yearly. This year we are going to SIAL in Paris, where we hope to see a lot of you.

Flexibility

We are willing to add products to your order when they are not in our assortment. We will make sure the external products in that order are of the highest quality.

Facilities

We posses a large cooling and freezing unit, keeping your meat fresh or frozen. This makes sure your meat stays at the best quality possible with the best shelf life.
